All about Nicole!

Hi, I’m Nicole Sheldrake! To me, movement means freedom. Freedom to do the activities I love outside and inside, freedom from chronic pain, and freedom to learn and experience life through all my senses.

Physical movement is simply the start of a cascade. Once your body begins to move more, your brain begins to sparkle more, you begin to see more joy in daily life, which affects your relationship with your community, which creates changes in other parts of your life.

Sure, my students come to me with specific pains and movements they want to do. But it’s the ripple effects that mean the most - the hypermobile mom who can carry her baby for longer periods, the granny who can now get down to the floor to play with her grandkids, the person with a dodgy knee who can go traveling and walk around new cities all day.

This is why I teach - not so that a person can do ‘Pilates’ but so a person can do ‘LIFE.’
